Thanked 4 Times in 4 PostsHi evow04,i contacted the supplier as in their description they talked about a year warranty but so far i have not heard back and am not expecting to really,
So i guess i will do the blob of solder option, but i have to wait for someone from home to bring the soldering iron over to uni for me.
Would you like a picture of the damaged sim connector or after i have tried to repair it?

Thanked 189 Times in 130 Postsno problem, it is clear enough!
i was just thinking about my previous remarks, the blob of solder option
you could do it more professional and easier to fit by making a mal in wood that has the shape of the missing pin.
Then you could drop the solder in it to match perfect, in case there are some rough parts you could use a grinding machine.
Or if you have some coperwire used for electric circuits/outlets you could strip and cut the wire in the needed length (i think it would match with the width that the pin has)

Thanked 4 Times in 4 PostsI FIXED IT!!! sorry about the capitals but im just really happy. i put a blob of solder in the place, took several attempts to get the blob to the right size. The solder is very poor as im using the worse soldering iron ever and in my uni room trying not to set off the over sensitive smoke alarm but atleast it finally works
