M8 can be used as internet modem for PC?

Hi! I used my M8 as internet modem for PC through bluetooth connection, but there is any possibility to use it as internet modem for PC through usb cable?

if you mean tethering over usb, it is possible but ..

*why would you do this over a gprs connection :s
*there is no driver yet untill someone builds it (eg. you, meizu,..)

On the last 1, i do not think Meizu would build this themself cause that is against chinese laws as far as i am aware of..

Hi, evow04! You were wondering why i used internet over gprs connection?! Well, for the moment, only for testing to see if it work; and it works over bluetooth modem. Maybe if i use another carrier i will have internet over EDGE and the speed is 4 times faster, so..it could be useful..for someone.
For felixduever: you suggest using WLAN but i haven't got WLAN on my PC.(is not a Notebook and it doesn't have WLAN, but it could be a possibility with a WLAN receiver.)

if I have a pc without wlan and I have my M8 with wlan. So I want Internet over M8 WLAN

Hi, felixduever! You were right; i haven't understood you well at first time! So, you have a PC without wlan and your M8 with wlan. You are in an area of wlan network and you can surf on M8 using this wlan but you want to use internet to PC, too, but through your M8 which is capable to receive wlan signal?! I thought that i think to deep if i want internet through M8 by usb, but you are far more persistent that me and want internet from M8 wlan! I didn't try but i know that modem drivers are only for bluetooth connection, so i think that if you turn on wifi and receive internet on M8 and then you open Bluetooth as well and pair PC with M8 and set the Modem ON, then it might be possible but you have to comunicate with PC through Bluetooth, so you have to had an usb bluetooth adapter for your PC. But the maximum speed over bluetooth connection between M8 and PC will be around 230 kbps while wlan i think is higher so if it works..you will surf slower than original wlan. If you have a wlan network signal near you why don't you buy a wireless adapter for pc and receive internet directly on PC not through M8?

solution : buy a wlan stick for 3,50 and you have internet on the pc.

felixduever, what do you mean with mac filter? you mean that the wifi uses a system to provide access to only a few listed mac addresses? In that case, if it is your router/ap you can edit this, if not you could do mac cloning to overwrite the systems mac address..

cri_sor2002, you are right, someone willl be interested in that function.
But on the other hand a gprs/edge/3g-stick is not that expensive anymore...
so i do not think that you will see some drivers soon for the stock wince operating system. (and that is the same for wifi)
