rebooting is a good way to start investigating this.

    And try to use the search function on the forum;
other users allready made such complaint.

I've already rebooted the phone. and register reset factory reset etc. but no success anyway.

And i have read the other topics. I didnt saw any solution.
I think, RMA is the only one option.

I will tell you the cause of this problem to warn people.

My battery level was at 5% I started a game from the Disk, and I played the game till the phone turned off. After that I start charging it with the usb adapter. And I saw weird colors at the screen, and the phone was not charged. After that I plugged the usb to my notebook, The notebook and the phone didnt recognise the disk anymore.

I read from one other user too.

And till now its 100% a "very low battery" problem.

alo06, owkay i wasn´t sure if you noticed it.

Do you have the same problem that you can not reach /disk, while using usb massmode, from pc?

I think, RMA is the only one option.
it is hard for me to believe it is a hardware malfunction.
You might think "oh-boy-there-he-goes-again" but due the android project we noticed that one could format "/disk" from ebootloader by using serial cable.
Maybe that could be a fix for this issue..

I can not reach disk "connected to pc" and "disconnected from the pc".

The /disk is removed from my phone.

Its like connected to pc. even when it is not. When I try to access via usb cable to pc it doesnt work.

I dont know how ebootloader works etc. If there is a "how to" maybe i can do it.

well there is no howto for this issue and you need some dedicated piece of hardware but i am pretty sure it could solve this.

Try to read this if you got the hardware you could give it a try, if not you can only try the previous mentionned actions from the other topics concerning this problem. If that does not work out you could try to have a look on the english bbs forum from meizu or you could contact Meizu directly for instructions.

ps what if you you try a registry reset then shut down the m8 and boot into the upgrade menu, then hook the m8 onto your pc?
Can you see the disk then?

So basicly it is a software issue like i expected.
one might be writing an english howto and add it to the faq since a few users had this error ?

    Ok, that is bad.
i was thinking that what i told before will be hard to do without the right tools but..

You are still able to boot in wince on the meizu right?
Can you open the filebrowser, go to the /windows folder.
there you will need to list on exe files. 1 of them opens the wince config screen like in a normal windows system.(any othere meizu user that can give the name? can not test it myself :s)
Somewhere is an option to see the connected drives and a format option.
I think you know where i am going... but i am not sure if you will be able to format while the system is active, however you could give it a try?

Or you could make the prefference on the m8 for massmode, connect to a windows pc and go to config screen, there is an icon for so called system management. There select the option computer management, there you select storage and next disk management. Normally you should see the usb disk from the meizu, maybe formating there could also do the trick?

I am not sure if my above instructions will do something but i am just trying to help and i am sure other meizu owners will say if it would work or not?

if not plan b is asking r3wdy if he thinks that you could solve it by formating it in eboot. He has the most experience in troubleshooting through eboot i think? And i am sure that if you would send your device that meizu solves it through the same menu...

One of the methods listed by you has helped.
I have seen many forums with the described problem. There were such people at whom as well as at me DISK was not neither in Meizu nor on PC.
And what for r3wdy and its format in eboot? I have not understood a little...

sorry it seems i did not explan well,
i will give it an other try:

as you may have noticed in the android topic we can communicate with the bootloader software through a serial cable.
This allows you to edit some options from the m8 device, like from where to load the firmware etc.
one of the options is a format of the /disk if i remember well.
This might work and be a foolproof way to solve the issue since Meizu mostlikely uses the sameway of restoring most issues regarding software problems.

and r3wdy had to repair his m8 when he encountered a problem while building android this way to, he might know more about the eboot and its options?

hope that makes it clear :-)

    @ storage manager

i can see only 2 drives.
    - Disk 1 pocketstore disk 103.36 mb
    - smflash samsung flash disk 144 mb

But it had 3 before. The movinand 16 GB drive.

The computer doesnt recognize the disk. I cant do something from the "disk management" of the computer.

    I even cant use activesync.
