Thanked 83 Times in 30 Postsconnect your m8 to pc(usb mode), can u see your m8?
if not, right click on "my computer" -> "manage" -> "Disk Management", something like that, is your m8 disk listed there?
if yes in above steps, you can do a format on your m8 disk, but all your data will be lost.
i am not sure this will help or not but you can have a tryLast edited by yunfan; 06-08-2010 at 10:18 AM.

Thanked 173 Times in 72 Posts@Hardtheory:
When you are in the upgrade menu, you can use your M8 as a usb mass storage device. If you can't use it as a mass storage device in upgrade mode, your M8 might be broken.
Let me know whether you have already tried that.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSame problem
I have the same problem with my 16GB M8. This is so disappointing as this is my second M8 that I have had. I had to send my first one back due to the ‘no signal problem and a dodgy headphone jack. Now the ‘no disk problem’ they seem to be a very expensive problem.

this problem occurs sometimes. For me it works to restart the phone, if neccessary by exiting the battery after shut down.
