New Desktop Icons

All of a sudden i have 2 new icons appear on my desktop.
1.Gapi
2.Diag
I never installed these they have just appeared.
I have hidden them for the moment using M8Sprite,but what are they for ?,whay have they appeared ?,is it safe to delete them?
They are not in the program manager of M8Sprite,so i cant uninstall them,only delete the icons from the desktop.
There is also a folder appear in desktop/documents/device/program files/Gapi for HPCs and when i open it there are lots of files.
Any help would be appreciated..thanks

One final time, try to use the search function next time, there are 8 months of threads for you to dig in...

GAPI is a graphics driver for pocket pc's, sort of like directx for pc's. It probably got installed while you installed another game, and when you launch that game, you will see that it uses the gapi shell. Deleting it is as easy as deleting all the files associated to gapi. I don't see the point of doing this though.

I did do a search and spent 15 minutes digging through old threads and could not find anything related to my problem.
I will always do a search before asking a question,so there is no need for you to keep telling me to search,if i ask a question then it means i have not found anything through searching.
Thanks also for answering my question.
