    SMS function really terrible?!

    Hello Together,

yesterday i got the M8 SE with firmware 0.9.3.7

What bothers me is the SMS functionality . Could it be that I do something wrong?

    1. I write a text about (200-300 characters) and then realize that the
SMS has become superfluous. How the hell do I get the 300 caracters i typed in deleted?
Click to delete 300 times? Have tried to cancel the sms and then to
Click again on NEW, but this phone is so smart and open
again the old design with my text?!

    2. Where are there folders as "Incoming Messages" "Outgoing" "Sent" and
    "Sending Report"?

    3. When I myself write a text message, it appears in the same list
like any other SMS i got before and it also looks as if the person wrote me and not the other way around. This is very confusing. Only
after clicking on it shows that i wrote it --> "Device Host" has written (terrible name)

Thus, it may be that I just do not have the right settings
've found, or is simply the SMS feature so bad?

I mean helloooo! this is a phone. In general, one should therefore
can make calls and write messages. So why theres no good SMS function or why there is no really good alternative Apps?

Thanks for your help and greetings
    Andreas

    - Press and hold the backspace button

    - There are no folders like that. The M8 displays the sent and received messages threaded for each contact you have. I think it's very logical...

I'm sorry I can't make anything out of this... First of all, why would you send yourself a text message? And how? From M8 or another phone?

Thus, it may be that I just do not have the right settings
've found, or is simply the SMS feature so bad?

    - It seems very logical to me how the SMS feature works, so...maybe you just have to get used to it...

How it's possible to rotate the screen when I write a SMS?
    Because mine doesn't do that.

    Thanks

@djtof: You can't use sms in landscape since its not supported (yet).

@User2009: You can't tap on one button and delete it ALL, you will have to press it until all the characters are deleted.

But this will take minutes to delete 200 or 300 characters?!
