About to purchase a Meizu M8 - Need some help first!

Hey All, i'm about to purchase a Meizu M8 - Though i have a few quick questions before i go ahead:

Are these phones unlocked for other countries, i'm from New Zealand and would like to make sure it will work for me down here...my dual band phones work fine here...

Where is the best place to buy the phones (i don't want to get ripped off, and would rather have some fast shipping)

I definitely want WIFI functionality, thats a MUST for me...

whats the best M8 to buy for it's value also, there seems to be TEST/RE/SE releases and so forth

So many variances of these phones that i don't want to make the wrong choice!

Really can't wait to become a M8 Owner, these phones look so much better than apples counterpart...

if you have enough money ,it's no doubt purchasing se is the best choice .cause se solve the touchscreen problem and use new music chip And the battery is improved to 1300 mah

^yup. Go for the m8SE for sure. RE is refurbished edition

whats the problems with the touchscreens? also i have heard the SE screen brightness is actually more dim than standard? will this mean the SE doesn't look as vibrant as the earlier models?

the problem is some part of screen is not working ,yeah the older one is more vibrant ,cause it equip samsung，but there is a rumor that se use toshiba's touchscreen and m8 has wifi but don't have 3g

How much more vibrant is the SE version screen? is it noticeable in comparison?

Really want to purchase one ASAP and would like to know what the key differences are, and whether or not the price difference is justified for the new m8 SE verison

the price is same ,but se don't have music button ,which is on the right of m8 in the old m8 .there are some people say se is more telolecithal.i think se screen is ok

Is there a direct comparison of screen brightness of Meizu M8 vs Meizu M8 SE? i just want to know whether i should worry about it at all

I recently got mine from ebay,its a Se and i dont have an issue with the screen brightness,but find the wifi is hopeless ,it only works at my home.

i have the middle from the picture, never had an issue with the screen. never had an issue with the wifi either.

Thanks,i used that yesterday and it works,my speed is a lot quicker..but the wifi still only works my home ,but that ok,i didnt buy the phone for the wifi anyway,i bought it mainly for the camera and the music player..both which i am very happy about. and i was sick of buying those rubbish cect iphone fakes..

you have no idea how close i came to buying from ***********.com until i decided id rather go with with other options.

god thank you did not buy it there!

A short update:
requests for a swap to SE is been ignored completly, a refund they do not wonna do, a swap to the first gen 16 gb is not possible since it is not on stock and the original model i had, the first gen. 8gb, is ordered for weeks now at there supplier. And about the RMA from my device to Meizu there is no word...

So when it will be on his way to me? i dunno

hey evow did you try sending your phone directly to Meizu in China? I got my m8 16gb from ebay without a warranty card. Attenna stopped working in 2 weeks(no signals) so I sent it back directly to China with a sheet stating the problem and requesting for a swap for M8 SE 16gb. They contacted me through email and they only charged me for physical dmg of the case(which there was) and shipping fee. I paid for shipping through western Union and after a week my new SE was here.

I should have done that!
ive shipped mine back to the webshop i bought it.. cause meizu demanded to do this.
btw, never got a warranty card with mine just like you..
