m8how to extract .rar files

hi can anyone tell me how to extract .rar and .zip files on the m8, i downloaded a game and applications from this web site and transferred to the m8, but when i try to extract the files it says that there is no software to extract them, .cab files work fine

well, there is 7zip Meizu Me - Downloads - 7-Zip 9.07-Beta-Multilingual

but I believe there was a more userfriendly one...

unpack them before you transfer them
That is the easy solution.

The more complicated is to download and install a packer program like 7-Zip (ARM version for windows CE) and associate .zip and .rar files via M8Sprite with it.
The buttons are a bit small but it works.

thx for ur replies, i unpacked the .rar file first on the pc them loaded them onto the m8 into the software file, i can go into the software folder and run the game from there, but it didnt install a desktop icon to fun the game from the desk top, whats that about?

some installers don't do so..
but you can use m8sprite to add a desktop icon

i have installed m8sprite, which menu do i use to add the desktop icons for the games

-open m8sprite
-click Desktop
-click on more (right bottom)
-click new desktop icon
the rest is simple :D
