Thanked 13 Times in 8 PostsMeizu chat
I was in the irc chat with JaffZe
and we came up with the idea that meizume really deserves a better chat solution...
so... we came up with multiple solutions...
best of them being a custom build chat...
which ofcourse has to be linked to your profile nd stuff
I do have quiet some programming experience in webdevelopment ( it's my job :P )
so.. I would be willing to help out...
so...
is anyone else interested in participating?
and also important will the crew/admin allow me to?
I can first develop it on a separate server.. if there's the issue of trust

Thanked 11 Times in 6 PostsReally? No-one else is up for a good integrated chat in MeizuMe where you could ask about anything and get answers right away? I'm shocked, because if we had the chat, then maybe, just maybe, noobs would go there and ask stupid questions and get burned LIVE

The others could go start a reasonable thread
No, just kidding about the noobs getting burned, but it would help most of us alot with some small questions that we might have.
Here is an example:
Instead of making a thread in the forums, you could just ask in the chat, if you get an answer there and you think it's a common problem or that other people want the same information you got, it could then be added to the FAQ or somewhere else
What's left to say now? Oh yes, I very much like the idea and would love to be able to use the chat some day

Thanked 269 Times in 146 Postswell, I would say, it depends, right now it´s a little silent, nothing really new came from Meizu, everybody is waiting for the new UI....so if it comes soon, then new apps will come and other stuff...so, then, there will be lots of interest!!!

Thanked 11 Times in 6 PostsHmm.. You might be right there rori!

We'll see, but I think it would be great to get the chat up and running -before- people really need/want it.
If we had a chat, there might be a little more activity on this website. I feel like you say that people are not that active on MeizuMe when there is nothing new. But I believe it would help with a LIVE chat.
owenray: I got a new idea on the chat setup (kind of..)
In your test chat, I saw that you had a few different "tabs" which I think may lead to other chatrooms? If that's right, then we should have a chatroom for every category in the Meizu M8 forum (Like this -> News;General;Skinning .. and so on)
This would make it both very simple to use and easy to understand for most people.

Thanked 200 Times in 145 PostsOzi explorer works but everything is quite small because of the immense resolution of the display '^^
maybe there are Skins for it that fit the resolution better.Meizu M8 SE - FW 0.9.9.18 (dao89 n450) Dualboot LBE A11 Android 2.2

Thanked 11 Times in 6 PostsThat looks nice raangu, but could it be possible to get some sort of rooms so the General chat wouldn't be crossed with the Application chat for example?
Here is the idea:
When you first join you will join the main room, aka General chat. And from there you can enter other rooms. (The sub-forums in the Meizu M8 forum)
Inside those "chat sections" you could start individual chat's regarding special things.
Like recently when the Android thread had a breakthrough they could just start a sub-chat in the modification section to hear what other people had to say and ask.
In my brain this would both look nice, feel very organized and simple to use.
