Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postm8 formatted itself...
Hey!
I have a problem with my m8
My cell phone has formatted itself over night, its the seccond time after 3 weeks.
Yesterday the battery was at about 5% and I put it off. In the morning I put it on and got these message: "Can not find M8profile (or one of its componetns) Make sure the path and filname are correct and that all the required libraries are aviable"
I have the FW 3.3.
What would you do? Should I sent it back to my seller? Did anybody have the same problem?
Please help

Thanked 11 Times in 6 PostsIt shouldn't be able to format itself while being powered off.. So this is weird.
But check this one thing first! Go to your documents, and to the root. Can you see a folder with the name DISK or DISK2?

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postwhat do you mean with root? I see just the folder "Disk" but its totally empty just the "application data" folder is there and there is no disk 2 in documents. All other things are gone like musik, videos, pics, apps so it must be formatted or?

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postthe last time I formated my disc again, flashed the FW again and installed all apps... And now after 3 weeks the same shit... Is it possible that the batterie was to low? I dont think so.
Should I sent it back or just try another FW like 2.7 not like me the 3.3?

i have had problems to load my phone a few weeks ago and i was sure that it was a problem with a "too empty" battery too?! I normally use an external charger that i bought for loading my ipod (output 5V DC / 500mA) and normallly it loads without any problems. but at this day my battery was, lets say ultra-weak and i couldnīt charge it...there were even screen bugs on the loading-animations...
i charged it then via notebook-usb and it worked...
That happend only one time since i have my m8!
maybe there are more problems that an totally unloaded battery may cause?!?get a Nexus and be happy...

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostI had this problem 3 times already. The phone automatically makes another Disk called 'DISK 2' and somehow 'masks' over your DISK 1.Everything will be back to normal once you restart your phone.

Do you think they will try to repair it or rather sent me a new modell?
