bluettoh issue is it only me?

hi all, i am the my m8 is great dude and so far so true.
in any case i have a blueant supertooth 3 and it is a bit older, after i hooked it up to my meizu m8 i noticed that people sounded rasp and pretty much could not understand what they were saying. so i figured my blueant is old so i went ahead and bought a new blueant supertooth light this time. this are bluetooth car kits. but it is the same! is my m8's bluetooth transmitter no good? is this a known issue? i searched but found nothing on here. is it compatiblity issues with blueant? please let me know any help would be appreciated as i am on the road salesman and need the bluetooth.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi there ijcy,

i must say i had no issue´s while linking my onboard carkit (Ford) with M8.
Since you mention that it has poor quality i would think it could be a matter of bad reception? (a known fact with m8)

Maybe a good idea is to park yourself somewhere that you have full reception with the m8 and try to make a testcall while standing still?

This to verify if it is a reception problem?

btw i would return the new kit, maybe you get your money back?

bad reception, i have been hearing this here repeated so many times. out of the 200 phones i have had i have never had a better phone for reception! no if i switch to phone the sound is perfect at the exact same moment as the issue with the bluetooth, and switching back to bluettoh same issue. its a car kit off ebay cant return but it is definitely not the car kit as the other car kit i had had same issue exactly so it is obviously the phone's bluetooth transmitter and not the car kit...
    thanks for ur assistance.

mm then it will be the transmitter indeed

just to make sure, try still an other BT device to hear the quality.
And try another phone with you current carkit?

(do not think you can tune anything on BT level)

I had the same problem aswell when i used the bluetooth system in my car stereo..

i fixed the problem like this..

Make sure the volume on the meizu m8 is low, and the volume on your external bluetooth device is higher

    Worked for me !!

Do you can use the Phonebook over Bluetooth at the external bluetooth device?

I have a Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth hands-free equipment in my car. I have heard that I don't can use the Phone book with the CK3100.
I want to buy a M8, so I hope that it works right with the CK3100.

Is there someone who knows how to solve the problem?

Knows someone if the M8 support the Bluetooth protocol remote SIM Access Profile (rSAP) or support it only HFP?

the phone does not support phone book transfer, i have a blueant supertooth 3 and it has text to speech and after pairing it told me to hold on while it is transferring the contacts. but after a minute or so it said that the phone does not support it. this has happened to me with samsung gt-star before and lg cookie also. my lg arena km900 worked with this though. it doesn't make much difference since the blueant will give me the number of the person who is dialing. another thing i noticed is it doesnt support last number redial via bluetooth either, when i press the send 3 seconds the blueant willsay redial, but it does nto work on the phone. this has worled on all my other phoens, but is hardly a deal breaker for me. I LOVE MY MEIZU M8!
    thanks, uri.

My meizu m8 works 100% fully functioned with my car stereo via bluetooth..

I have a Hyundai Tuscon 2009 and the car stereo has built in bluetooth, which i have hooked up to my meizu m8, - it DOES support bluetooth phonebook..

When i make a phone call or recieve, the telephone number ( caller id ) works n my car stereo.

I guess it depends on the actual car stereo bluetooth system..

hmmm, nice car i have the 08 hyundai santa fe limited it didn't have bluetooth though. i am using the blueant supertooth 3. and it also says the phone number. what i am talking about is saying the name that is in ur phone book. so if u have home setup with a phone number in ur phone book then instead of the bluetooth reading out the number it will tell u the name of the caller. os it will say home calling, or call from home.

haha i was going to buy the santa fe but ended up getting the 09 tuscon city at a bargain

Now i understand what you mean with the phonebook, unfortunatly the meizu m8 doesnt support it - it only shows the number being dialed or recieved..
