    update on 8GB from Dane-Elec

so i was on the phone w/ a guy named Adrian from Dane-elec yesterday. yea, getting pretty desparate here for that 8GB. he said that the models to be tested are out but b/c the chip is so expensive, there hasn't been enough made yet for sale and probably won't be until mid to late April.

i dunno about the asia front but at least for north america, this is what irvine, california said~

He did not say that the 8Gb chip is a problem to get a hold of, it just costs more than they expected I assume.
