M6 SP - Read Only Files

I have some Read Only Folders in my music section that I cannot delete, and right clicking on the files choosing properties to uncheck "read-only" is greyed out, won't let me check it.

How can I delete these folders?

Maybe your computer have some virus!
First, you'd better be sure that your computer is clean.
Then you can do the following things:
    1. Run "CMD"
    2.Type in:
    attrib H:\Music -s -h -r
    3.Press Enter
"H:\music" is the folder that cannot uncheck "read-only".

    Another way is:
    Format your M6 player.

I had the exact same problem a moment ago.

And the attrib in cmd does not work, what you had to do is to disable the write protection in registry and disable write to usb.

You can easy read step by step how to do it with this link! How to Disable Write Access to USB Hard Disk and Flash Key Drives My Digital Life

To erase your mp3 there is a program made by panasonic called SDformatter, it works perfectly with the SP player atleast.

Now. When your done, upgrade your player with the latest firmware.

    Works like a charm!

Format sounds like the cleaner way, but do keep in mind you need a resource file for after the format. Also check your computer for virii, I recommend Malwarebytes.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
