8GB for sale on meizu's website?

does anyone know what is the diff between the MINI PLAYER 豪华版 and the Mini Player 标准版??

...last night/this morning. she said that the 8GB supposedly isn't on the market yet even though it's on the Meizu website. i asked what happens to all the customers who are purchasing online on the official site and she said she only knew that the 8GB players aren't on the market yet but should be soon. didn't reply to anymore specifics. i'm guessing that the players are being first released to the China market (to be expected) or the company is testing the waters? not sure.... hopefully, the players will be released soon in the US.

Someone good enough in chinese to order one for me ?

yea.... on meizu and everything. tried to order but got to an order confirmation-like page with no payment processing ability. it looks like an online pre-order/confirmation function.

I spoke with my contact at Dane-Elec in the US and the release for the 8GB in the US is definitely delayed. Dane-Elec shipped quite a few 8GB chips to Meizu in December, but is still waiting for Meizu to deliver working production samples prior to placing a committed order with Meizu.

There is no definitive date for the release since there has been no timeframe commitment from Meizu on delivering the samples.

maybe they're waiting to clear out their 4GB's and if we think they'll never come out w/ the 8GB, then there will be a higher chance for them to clear out the 4GB? ahahahah :D

udpate: so i emailed Tomas from HOD and he said he doesn't have a date yet for the 8GB =( he did say they were expecting to sell at $185 (i'm assuming for the deluxe edition). not too bad if this is including s/h =P

maybe they really need to clear out those 4GB's first or those ebay sellers need to make some $$$ first~ mmm... but for sure the 8GB are on the market somewhere...
