Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsDane-Elec did released both players. You need to find out what player you have by look at your serial number on the back. Usually the version name is printet above the serial nr. but the first 4 letters can also tell you what version you have.

Most likely, you have SP firmware. I don't believe they ever released a TP, SL, or TS player.
As the Torminator mentioned, just look on the back of your player.If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

If you just ordered the M6 and want to find out from the description or pictures if it's a SP or SL model, you can identify it either by it's thickness (SP=10mm / SL=7mm) or the sign at the bottom of the touchpad ( SP= <--' / SL= >|| )Last edited by my zoo; 07-03-2009 at 01:27 PM.

Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsGood post my zoo. I have been lot thinking about to post same thing. Maybe an easier to tell the differences for some.
Then when you find your version you can easily go up for the matching silicone case:
SP = SP Silicone case
SL = SL Silicone case
I just don’t see anything hard in that.
