Is Dane Elec Meizu more like the SP or the SL?

1. If I were to download firmware to a dane elec meizu would it be SP firmware or SL firmware?

2. If I were to buy a silicone case, should I buy an SP silicone case or an SL silicone case?

Thanks for your answers if any!

Dane-Elec did released both players. You need to find out what player you have by look at your serial number on the back. Usually the version name is printet above the serial nr. but the first 4 letters can also tell you what version you have.

Most likely, you have SP firmware. I don't believe they ever released a TP, SL, or TS player.

As the Torminator mentioned, just look on the back of your player.

If so, why are my M6SL carrying a Dane-Elec logo printed on the back???
I disagree Dane-Elec didn't release any SL version but the TP and TS sure did not.

@ lazyhazy101

If you just ordered the M6 and want to find out from the description or pictures if it's a SP or SL model, you can identify it either by it's thickness (SP=10mm / SL=7mm) or the sign at the bottom of the touchpad ( SP= <--' / SL= >|| )

Good post my zoo. I have been lot thinking about to post same thing. Maybe an easier to tell the differences for some.

Then when you find your version you can easily go up for the matching silicone case:

SP = SP Silicone case

SL = SL Silicone case

I just don’t see anything hard in that.
