Well unfortunately my meizu cant shut down. For a while it would get stuck on update music libary when I turned it on, no matter how long I left it for, but I eventually fixed that but now it cant shut down.
It can start shutting down, but when the progress bar is full it stops. The touchstrip still clicks and the screen brightens up everytime you press a button but there is no way of turning it off without reseting it everytime

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsI wouldn't worry much about it. I remember I had this problem and other users too, and it was always solved by a firmware upgrade or a format.

gabest, it's an M6, not an M8.

birdman, just hold the fast forward button for around 10 seconds or until the player shuts down. When you turn it back on, it should be updating the music library.

As nice2know_u has pointed out, just try a normal firmware update and you should be set, it won't brick your player. If that does not work, you might have a hardware problem, which would require the disassembly of your player to fix.
