m6 crashes when viewering photos

I have a problem. Pretty much every time that I am trying to view the photos M6 crashes: instead of picture it shows a black screen and freezes. Sometimes, it might show a picture or two.

Will going back to earlier firmware fix that? I am presently at 2.004.6. I have SP.

Any ideas?

I really kills the joy of using m6 for me, otherwise I am just loving it

Did photos work for you before? If so, go back to the firmware that worked. If this is the first time, make sure your photos are in 320x240 resoloution and they are a common file, such as .bmp or .jpeg. Hope this helps and welcome to the forums!

Sorry, just to be quick. My pictures were pages of pdf document exported as jpgs. I had to resize them, but the way XnView was resizing them was bad - m6 would crash.

Apparently, resizing with Asd see solved the problem so far!
