First of all- don't try to turn it on!
You can find an instruction on how to open the player here.
When you have managed to open it, let it dry for some days.
You can decrease the process with moderate heat and silica gel.

Make sure you do not turn it on and then leave it in a dry warm place for a few days. This is most important.
Water is the most critical here.
If there is any water inside on the circuits and you turn it on and somthing happen, there will be less chance you will get your player working again.
Leave it for 2-3 days and then try and see if will turn it on. But do not accept it now.
I think it's just not easy open the M6 anyway.
There is high chance you will scratch your player as well, just making it worse.
You actually need special tools for open it correctly.

I agree with The Torminator, you should not turn it on, neither should you open your device. Just put it next to a heater and let it sit for at least a week. But first, shake all the excess water out. After the 5 days with the heater, it should be fine, and just charge it up. Hope this helps and welcome to the forums!
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

You should open the player anyway. The housing has too little ports to let all moisture disappear from inside the player. If you open the player you can be sure that there is no more water inside after a few days.
LOL The first thing i did when i read the warnings not no open the player was to open up my own M6. It was very easy and nothing broke or got scratched since i only used my fingernails.
I don't want to encourage anybody to open the player without a reason!
