Hi everybody! I took my faceplate for my m6 off and realized there is some ugly residue from the faceplate adhesive around the edges of the player. I cant wipe them off, and i have tried using a bit of soap on a damp rag to scrub off, but still no luck. Any suggestions???

Try with cotton and "aceton" (i don't know if it's the right word in english, i'm french and in France we name it "acétone").

aceton is correct

carefull not to use too much though as it might eat the plastic screencover a bit

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsif you guys watched ghostwriter back in the 90's, they had one episode where it was said that oil can dissolve gum. :D i'm not sure if it'll be effective on glue residue but you could give it a shot.

True, acetone will distroy the plastic. Some sort of cleaning alcohol might be the best option

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIf you can find a "nano-scrub", you can use it. A nano-scrub is a normal-looking sponge but it has nano stuff to get inside the residue and take it off. Preferably wet it with water too.
