Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThis is my first post, I would ratehr not have to come here but here I am.
My M3 music card worked fine on my old Powerbook G4 with latest version of Tiger OSX 10.4.11, isn't recognized by new macbook pro with Snow Leopard.
I personally think Mac is great, but clearly the problem lies with the new operating system.
I can find and work with the M3 through Disk Utility, it was registered as having errors and OSX couldn't repair them, so I erased the disk, rewrote as FAT/MS-DOS and repartitioned as one partition under MS-DOS (which is the system all external drives are on anyway so it should be no problem).
Still doesn't recognize it.
I'll keep playing around and I will try teh itunmywalkman freeware to see if that help.
But to be honest, I don't even know how to use itunes (too many features for me, I like it simple) or sync anything to anything, i love to just drag and drop a folder of mp3s into the M3 and be done with it.
The last resort is to use teh third partition on my macbook hard drive (for emergency boot ups in case I should need to) to run Tiger and go there to load up teh M3.
I keep one partition just for music and movies, one for running everything, OSX, applications, and one small one as a spare just in case.
That way it should be a simple matter of rebooting from an older system when I need to.
Now please don't tell me that two versions of OSX will clash and ruin everything.
Please.

If i got it right, there is no solution to even connect my Meizu m6 sl to my MacBook Pro OS X Snow Leopard?
I tried both MSC and MTP mode, but my Mac didn't display anything.
The device simply doesn't exist under Snow Leopard, although the m6 says, that it is connected.
Doubtfully hoping for an solution.
