    meizu M6 SL [2004.7] + Mac?

    Hi Guys!

I hope I'll find some help here...
I have the M6SL with FW 2004.7 currently running on it. A few days ago I got a Macbook with Mac OS X 10.5. I never had a problem with my meizu running on windows but my mac just won't recognise it - nothing happend. In some threads I read that Leopard will not recognize the meizu. Is that true? Did any of you make the same experience?

I do not really want to install windows on the mac only for using the meizu.

Oh, and yes the USB mode is set to MSC.

I do not need it to work together with I tunes or anything just want it to be regocnised by the mac.

    Thanks in advance!

Sigh, did Steve Jobs' thought police get another innocent Windows user?

But seriously, it should be recognized as a flash drive. If you can use flash drives on it, you should be able to use the miniPlayer. If not, then it just won't work.

    Hi,

I had the same trouble with my meizu not being recognized.

What I did was go to a Windows machine. Installed firmware which was downloaded from the firmware section of this site (that's cause I had an older version). Format my meizu as FAT32 in Windows. Gave it a volume name of Meizu. Then plugged it into OS X and copied my files into the folders. And voila, it works now!!

Oh DUH! Stupid me!! I completely forgot Macs use a proprietary HFS formatting. IrieIvy, just follow Roboman's suggestion, and Welcome to the forums!
