meizu m6 + windows mediaplayer
hello,
I am using windows mediaplayer to sync with my meizu m6 (sp edition).
In my wmp everything is realy neat, because you can edit and fix names of the songs etc. but for some reason if i sync with my meizu, its all messed up. Under artist there are sorted by some feat. artist and so on, so i have like 6 or more names for 1 artist, wich is in my wmp just under that artist.
it realy sucks +) is there a solution?

I don't exactly understand what your problem is, could you please be more specific?

yeah i know, i don't know how to explain it well. But for example. I have songs of N.E.R.D. in WMP i updated them so they are all neat tagged. But when i sync my meizu with WMP. And i got to artist on my meizu. They are tagged like N.E.R.D, N*E*R*D, N.E.R.D, NERD. etc. while in my WMP they are all under the same name: N.E.R.D it isn't that big of a problem, but its annoying.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsFirst of all, sorry for my bad english, I'm spanish.
Try this: Go to your wmp and search for a colum called "guest artist" or something like this, I don't know exactly how is named in english. Maybe the Meizu is using this tag and not the album artist tag.
Bye.

Micha, to fix this you'll need a different mp3 tag editor, Google for a free one. Windows Media Player somethimes only makes the change in its own library, depending on which version you are using. I'm assuming you're using 11.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI think this has something to do with the fact that the Meizu's firmware reads the Artist, and not the Album Artist, but I could be wrong.
I've noticed that MediaPlayer does a good job at tagging the files just right :D
