You have to click the button, not keep your finger on it. Keeping your finger on it increases the volume or whatever menu your are at.

Same problem here. I got my M6 for about 2 years now, and it made a good job. Cause I use it extremly often, I think it's normal wearout. Try to push harder. In my case it works properly after the second or third try.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIt's normal wearing and happens to every all-day-use device. It's perfectly normal and it actually surprised me how long my M6 stays workable. I've bought it 2 years ago and it still works good except for a similar problem, when I click the M button it moves to the next song sometimes. Anyway, it took 2 years before this problem started and generally, I use my M6 every day. Say I don't use it for 50 days a year and I would still have 2 x 315 = 630 days of use on the device, and now only a small problem pops up.
Ah well, not interesting story, I think it's normal wear and there's not too much to do about it.

You got to know that meizu use Layer Of Carbon Push Buttons and unfortunately that material begins to get wasted and comes a day it doesn't response any more.
So, as long as you press harder, it begin to get worst more and more; So Don't press Hard.
Note: Ipod uses a sort of Metal Push Button.

Try this fix: Press the button very hard, and keep pressing hard for a minute (When your player is off). Then after a minute of hard pressing, let go, and turn it on. It should be better now. Hope this helps.
By the way, is it still covered by the warranty? If so, just get a replacement. If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
