I've had my 4gb Meizu SP for more than a year now. Great little player and has done me well but unfortunately it's been having audio problems recently. Sometimes when starting onto a new song, the player skips constantly during playback (sounding like the file is corrupted) until you press for the next song. When I first had the player, it often would have a slight skip at the end of songs, a common problem with the SP players that was more or less fixed with the latest firmware. Anyone having the same problem as me? Is my player failing? My player does have the latest firmware and most songs of my player are mp3 format. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's not solvable for now, it's the infamous stuttering issue. Try re-encoding your files in a different format, that seems to work for many people.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi've also had transfer errors, could be the file is just corrupt
here's an audiotester; very fast vuplayer.com and works on everything, flac included. it sometimes reports bad idv3 tags but i haven't needed to repair any of those when the audio portion works fine. foobar 2000 (the player) repairs out of sync problems very nicely!
