need help - repetitive hangups after filling (music) content

    hello,
i recently got a bricked meizu m6 sp (1gb). it was stuck on the "loading..." screen and i was able to recover it via dfu tools. i was pretty content with everything until i tried to load a larger amount of music onto it. it seems now that whenever the file-amount surpasses 800mb the player goes "kaputt". it doesn't respond anymore: writing breaks up with e/a errors, player freezes (soft shutoff works though). afterwards the drive isn't recognized by windows anymore, most of the times it even falls back to the loading...-screen freeze. is there less than 800mb of files loaded on the flashdrive the player works just fine. i tried several firmwares, all with the same result. any suggestions, what the problem might be. thanks.

Try re-formatting the drive as NTFS in Windows, see if that helps.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G

I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you very much my friend! i revived the M6SP of a friend of mine's with your guidebook!

    added:

I have tried in vain with the guide tools for DFU (with 1.9 firmware) sent by one of the admins from the Meizu official forum, the 2.004 and 2.002 versins also failed me. Just when it comes to the moment that I thought all hopes were gone, I tried your method and it at first looked the same failure but a miracle afterwards appeared that i was able to do a low level format by holding down two keys, and since that I knew that this little piece of %#$# was revived.

VOILA my story, thanks again mon amis!

You mean the language in the M6 menu?

You'll find the answer in the FAQ.

I have done all steps, and nothing happens - my player still can't work. But if i just plug player to comp.,as usual, it starts to charge. I remember that previos time, when my player was bricked, i read somewhere about using NAND utils in DFU, and fixed my m6sl.

    i ned your help

Can you see the player's charging screen? If so, maybe you are just not holding down the power button long enough to start it.

I holding power button enough to start it. Now i think that my battery have been broken, cuz i can perform Low-level formating or simple Formating when i connect my M6 with charger, but when i disconnect cable during the process, m6 turns off. I have warranty, so I'll go to service-center and wail untill my player will be repaired.

    Whew!

    M Barry
Thanks man I owe you one. the very first step cleared up my problem. This
Meizu is the greatest. I have a unique set up you might like. I have it mounted on the underside of my baseball caps brim. Works super. Pause, next, volume up or down without looking. Both hands free to work, No wires hanging(routed through the crown) Remove hat FLIP and the earphones (taped to the headband over the ears) go inside the hat and it barely shows. Really handy. Thanks again ---------- JIM

You have to use DFU Tools correctly, both of you. Just follow the instructions.

I have a 8 GB SP Miniplayer that is not coming back on. Black screen, battery is full, popped it open and measured it
    No buttons respond,
Device is not recognized by windows, tried 5 machines not as a drive or in DFU mode.

Any tips on how to get it revived and if not anyone interested in the parts

    M
