Problems with Video transfer using Vista Ultimate 64 bit...

Has anyone else had trouble transfering video files to the device when using this OS?

When using Vista 64 I drag a video into the VIDEO folder I get a pop up that says something like that the file can be used for transport only and may not play or appear in the menu. When using XP SP3 and using the same video file, the video transfers just fine and shows up in the players menu.

Music files seem to transfer just fine, and play just fine.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Matt

EDIT: I see the packaging doesn't state Vista OS, still curious.

Welcome to MeizuMe. If you're dual-booting, just use XP. There doesn't seem to be any solution to your problem. Sorry.

Try the Batman converter. Search for it using the search bar, the title should be somewhat like "Batman-Free video converter.....". Hope this helps, and Welcome to the forums.

Right mbarry, the video isn't the problem...it's how Vista senses the player...for only video files.

I figured out a way to do this...change the USB to MSC and Vista senses it as a simple external drive and allows transfers just fine.

Alright, glad your player got along with Vista x64. What I don't understand is that it works on XP using the other mode, but not Vista.

I'm not sure either...in XP it senses it as a 'removable drive' in both MTP and MSC modes (maybe since I didn't install the driver). In Vista, it says 'MiniPlayer' when in MTP mode and 'removable drive' in MSC mode.
