There's also a different review from the Cnet guys in the UK, check it at

Who's it for?
Anyone looking for an MP3 player with video capabilities; users who are prepared to work out how to encode video to match its mysterious demands
We like:
Apple-inspired styling; surprisingly watchable screen; lightweight; decent battery performance
We don't like:
Apple-inspired styling; fiddly touchpad interface; problems with encoding video but no error message explaining what's gone awry
You might also want:
You'll need a rocket scientist on standby to help you encode video
CNET.co.uk judgement:
Provided you can figure out how to encode video for the Meizu, it's a great player with decent quality video playback and the sonic fidelity of a Steinway -- with most of the notes properly tuned
I'm personally disagree with some things in this particular review but, we always need a second opinion isn't?
