Hmm read this in the FAQNo way to fix it?Black Screen, But Hearing Clicking Sounds While Using Touchpad Hearing the click means your Mini Player is working, you must try a Reset or in worst cases a Hard Reset to get it working again.
Ok I fixed it, dont let backlight switch off...Last edited by Quattr0; 07-21-2008 at 05:19 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have the same problem! I´ve Hard resetted the player and installed the firmware several times but the screen still remains black, only when listening to the radio..
So I have to restart the player every time I have listened to the radio. It seems that the player works but not the screen..
Someone who knows what to do? Thank´s in advance..

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsSo... If you're listening to radio and the display turns off you have to reset the player to get it back to normal again? I have never experienced such problem, and don't remember anyone complaining about this either. Just tested on mine, and it works OK. I have my backlight timer on 10 seconds.
What if you turn the display off by holding down the M button?
What firmware version do you have installed?Last edited by nice2know_u; 05-29-2009 at 12:23 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsExactly!
I tested and it does work properly if I turn the diplay of by pressing the M button. The display turns back on if I touch any key.
I have M6_SL2.004.6 installed. I tryed the M6_SL2.004.7 and then the radio/display problem didn´t exist. But the latest firmware makes the players display very dark, didn´t like that + that many people are saying that it is a unnecessary firmware.
Guess I´ll just keep holding down that M button a little while every time I listen to the radio.

But seriously, do you need to have the backlight on at all time you listen to the radio..? What about saving battery power?
