    MP3 stutter

When playing some MP3 files, the sound stutters with my M6 SL 2.004.6. For example one song on an album, which has the same bitrate (96Kbps, 44.1KHz) as the others, stutters, while it is probably encoded the same way as the others.
Has anyone else had this problem, and what can be done about it?

Tons of people complain about that problem (I haven't really come to it yet). You can use a tool that would clean up erroneous mp3 files, which fixes the stuttering with some songs. You can also convert your songs to .ogg format for example. There is no fix for the stuttering bug at the moment, tho Meizu is working on it. Don't expect a fix tho for sure, it might come, or might not.

That's right. A secret snapshot leaked out from their development department last night :

can't take long until they finally worked out a solution. Maybe another 2 or 3 years.

Actually, there's a thread about a guy's mailing with Meizu... Think the one that started the petition. It says they were asking for more stutter-samples. If they wouldn't care, why would they want to ask for samples?

For the same reason people say "don't call us - we call you". Of course you can sleep next to your phone .. but it won't help the situation

So that's why they don't reply me! Anytime I did contact them I always got reply the following day. But now I haven't heard from them since Monday. I'm now talking with them about this problem. I did gave them some test files and some advices we found out here how to avoid the stutter. They were very happy for my support. But I don't know yet if there might come something useful out of this. They only say they expect to solve this problem in there new coming range products.

Yako, if you want to remove the stutter completely right now, you need to remove all of the tags and album arts inside your songs, but that would be stupid!

    anyway
    Thanks for info, BobbyQ

You probably talk about me, but it wasn't me who started the petition.
I will make a larger expiation around here soon how exactly the situation is so you all understand better.
(EDIT: look after my posts here for more info: stuttering music)
They do care, thanks to my support, but for now only for new coming products.
I REALLY asked them about they should fix it on M6 and M3 too, but I haven't got reply on that question yet, since they now waste there time on....party’s

    heh, yes I see
Yes, indeed I was talking about you.
I think that if they find out about the current problem, be it about their new project, if they can implement that in the current firmwares, they will. The work's in finding the bug, not fixing it. It could even be one + instead of a - or something. But I don't think something much worse tho
Still, tho... The M8 should have a WinCE based OS, I*thought*there would*bereadily available mp3/id3 decoders for*that*platform, I'd*think*they*would*just*drop*their current decoder and use and existing, closely bugless*one!
