A Few questions
Alright I have been doing the best I can on my own but I have searched the forums and can't find the answers to the questions I have.
First we are going to start with video. I have no problems getting video to play. I converted a Naruto Episode and it works just fine, but there is no Video selection on the menu. I can get to it with the browser, but that's the only way.
Next how do I skin my player? I have a whole bunch of skin files I found on here but it doesn't say what to do with them anywhere.
Lastly what media player does everyone use? I have been using winamp 5.53 and I am thinking about trying media monkey. Thank you for answering all my questions

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'm too tired to search for it now, but theres a thread in this forum about how to update the firmware, it's the same way as to skin your player, just use seach function... good luck
In my opinion the best Media player ist J River Media Center, but its no freeware.
There are many good freeware players like jet audio, I think they are all nearly as good as the others (;Last edited by M47Z; 04-12-2008 at 10:28 PM.

Hi, for the video option, go to Settings, Main Menu, and make sure the video option is turned on.
For skinning your player, unzip the file to your computer, then copy the Resource bin file to the main folder on your player (the one with Music, Video, Playlists, etc). Unplug and restart your player and it should update to the new skin. If you have a wallpaper on there, you might have to go into Settings, Display and change it to default to get the skin background to show.
Honestly, I don't use a media player. I just drag and drop the music files from my computer to the music folder on the player. Lot easier that way.

Hi, all your questions got answered, but I want to say that I use Media Monkey. It's a very good media player, and if you right click on a song and send it to the meizu, it will put the song in MUSIC/Artist/Album/song.

Album art is easy. Right click on the song(s) you want to get album art from, and click on "Auto-tag from web", then you choose to save the album art as an image. To make it show up on your Meizu, make MediaMonkey name the album image albumname..jpg(notice the two dots). Replace albumname with the album name in the id tag of the songs, and put it in the same folder as the songs from the album.

Alright I am trying it out this morning! I am going to get this working! So the two periods are a must? All my songs should be tagged correctly, so i will just add a period. Do I have to add a period to the end of my album names?
Oh also how can I display lyrics? I heard it has to have a lyrics file but I dunno.
Thank you for the help. This is a great forumLast edited by clint_thepirat3; 04-23-2008 at 12:48 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsDidn't we hve the same questions short time before? ^^
But no problem, will help you as far as I can.
Skinning a Player is quite easy.
Copy the skinning files in the main directory of your player, then disconnect it and restart.
I think J River Media Center is the best Media Center ever.
I tried hundrets before but this one ROCKS!
