iPod font on Meizu

Here's the iPod/Apple font used in all their ads and iPod/Phone interface

I can't make it work with the Font GUI or the classic command line font importer tool. Does it work for you?

I think the font has to be instaled on your system in order to work.

Yes, you have to install the font in your computer and then you do the m6_font_tool thingy. Then you can upload the resource file for us :P

Drag and drop the file font in your WINDOWS\Fonts folder.

The thing is, I know it must be installed (who doesn't know that? LOL) but the player shows Arial instead of Myriad Pro for me!

Sorry guys, don't want to spoil the fun, but are you shure that it is legal to post that font here? Fonts are usually very expensive, maybe they should be rather exchanged under the radar, before MeizuMe gets into trouble.

Go to Start->Control Panel->Fonts, click File->Install and locate the font file. Also, as kadajawi says, if the font is copyrighted, it would be wise to take it off of the forums because of the legality issues.

Oh and P.S.: adamL, please get the updated version of the GUI and importer, a bug was fixed and support for M3 firmware was added. Well... Guess the bugfix could be important for you

@speeder:what bug are you talking about? i have font import gui 1.01 version it's working fine

@kadajawi:so if we talk about copyright why for example lot of people are using the "ipod skin" with every ipod original pics...and what about every wallpapers people are sharing (like clix so we will have problems with iriver...:eek

and when just one font is sharing too you say be careful it's copyrighted!

I'm just saying that you should be a bit careful. A single font usually costs maybe $30, while a whole family (bold, italic etc.) can cost $1000+. That's a bit different from some icons that you cannot buy.

You can find these fonts everywhere on the net, but it might be safer to keep copyrighted material off this forum.

Check the 16x16 font. In that version, they should be the same as the original Meizu font I believe. Update to fix that problem. But don't worry, I haven't added any new bugs I believe

I'm guessing those wallpapers are re-makes of the original while the one posted looks like a copyrighted font or the mod of one.
