Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAre you using a Macintosh? You have to delete the recycle bin or else the storage on your miniplayer (in fact any flash drive) won't be freed up

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi dont see any recycle bin on the player. the player showed no data present even though it says 3+gb left out of 8gb. and im using PC. ive used it first 3days with deleting files i added and all was ok. only last night when i cleared those files the player didnt show signs of freed memory. while formatting solved it, it still dusent explain how it happen and whether i shud get a change b4 something worse happens.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOf course there is no recycle bin on your player, it is on the macintosh. But if you're using Windows you won't get this strange behaviour. So nevermind.
Maybe you unplugged the player before all files were deleted?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsnope the problem existed b4 i deleted those files. i deleted them to check whether space would free up (which it didnt work)
To clarify, the space shown as full was not even near the size of my files so there were like invisible 'occupants' in my player taking up space so to speak. (eg 2gb of songs but 3 gb of free space left meaning another 3 gb 'floating ard')
