Obviously, there is a battery indicator in the top right corner.
If you need to know if it is really fully charged, the only thing you can do is plug it in and wait for the "fully charged" message.

You should see a little animation while it's charging. It stops when fully charged.

It's not that dumb of a question. Many other players actually give a battery life percentage indicator in the settings menu. Also Rockbox supports this feature even going so far as to estimate the amount of time left in the player. So this feature might be something that some people expect (I know I did).

Furthermore, I have my doubts about the authenticity of the M6 battery life indicator in the first place. When I am connected via USB and disconnect, it still shows the charging animation while its actually updating the library. So, for about 1 minute while being completely disconnected, it still shows its charging.

It's just this lack of attention to detail that bothers me in the M6 SL so I thought I point out that questioning the battery indicator is really not that dumb of a question.
