SL?

Hi, I have just seen the new SL and was wondering weather to give my brother my 4gb SP and buy an 8gb SL. Does anyone know when Dane-elec will release it in the U.K. (the SL) and if so, does it have TV-out ports and what about the screen (I watch lots of movies and videos on it)?

P.S. What accesories does it come with and how much thinner does it look?

the sl has a bad screen, if you want to watch anything on it, it has a blue haze all over it, look for comparison pictures somewhere in this forum (cant find them right now, but they are here)

yes, it is still watcheable, but as you can see it looks totally blue compared to SP

I think the backlight system used in the SL is different. It's possible that the SL's screen is the same as the SP's.

that's weird, i've got a SL and when i'm watching a video the screen isnt blue like on the picture, all colors are right :O

That photo is deceiving. Although I haven't seen an SP, I got an SL and the screen is no where near that blue like the top. It looks a lot more like the bottom only with a slight blue tinge to the black background.

Are you talking about the player itself, because that does not have a TV out. You really wouldn't want it anyways as a video that might look good on the player would look crap on a TV. I don't use video on my SL much but from what I have seen the quality is fine for me anyways, the only problem is the audio is a bit out of sync but apparently if you get certain video converters it's easier to get right.

Hmm people say that the sound quality on SL is a tad bit better than SP but I have an SP and listened to a SL and have heard no difference. I think the real deciding factor on both these players is battery life and size. SL is smaller and I've heard SL has a short battery life correct me if Im wrong. Size to me is meaningless Id choose battery life over size any day...

I tried to look for myself (in England as well) but in the end I decided to just go with the SP, I'm getting it this weekend. Now having seen the comparison pics I'm not too bothered. Even if the SL screen is better than in the picture the size difference isn't much. I don't know if/when Dane-Elec will release the SL or future Meizu products, does anyone know anything about this situation?

I don't think either have TV out but according to Wikipedia the S7 will do. That's if it gets released here.
