Hi there,
I have a Motorola phone which has the same usb cable that the meizu has.
The Motorola phone also has a charger that has the same connection that the meizu has. So I was wondering if I could use the charger on the Meizu?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postswhat is the output of the charger? It must provide 5V and at least 400mA --> then you can use it for your miniplayer

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIt would be fine. The battery in a Mobile is bigger than a Meizu one so the capacity of the charger would be enough.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell the charger says this:
Model 5100
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.2A
Output: 5.0V ---… (put the lines on top of the dots) 550mA
Also I live in Israel so the electricity is different.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIn what sense: it does not shock you perhaps? ;-)
(according to Wikipedia you also have the same 230V 50Hz as Europe, only the plug might be different)
The output current of that Motorola charger is well enough then, the mini-USB pinout is standard - so it is safe to use

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Poststhat is correct, but does not matter: you should only care about the output voltage/load
(besides, I think everybody who answered is from Europe/UK)

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThe 400mA MAX means that the player requires 400mA from the charger when in maximum energy use. It means your charger has to be rated for 400mA or more. So a 550mA charger is fine.
A charger with less than 400mA might get too hot and blow up if your player requires 400mA from it.
