Batman 2008 and .flv video support

I looked a bit deeper at the support of .flv conversion ; that is I had just converted one video ( Indian Heart Beat ) and was yet simply very pleased it was converted , even if the process was still buggy, but i did not checked really more...

now having looked closer I found the main problem will be syncing audio ; and here we are again at it

I did notice that no DShow solution was available and thus that Batman had to pass back everything to MEncoder , which is known for some syncing problems, no ? hu....

so here is a "great" YouTube video for testing and achieving lipsync audio ; BTW the guy (Henrik Andersen) is not nuts :D he is just practicing (mastering I mean ) Konakol indian rythmic patterns

looking forward to Drag and Drop such .flv video and get a hotcake Meizu 20fps file

(as now the soundtrack is out of sync after conversion)

in the end this limited M6 will possibly never die ! lol

edit : indeed the sound syncing of YouTube videos is hardly the best , but even if the overall sync of the all movie is not 101% perfect all the time , it is still anyway globally 'in sync' for the all duration

having checked other .flv videos , it is always the same thing ; rather poor syncing , and (new) sync loss at every scene change !

and possibly not so easy to fix

using VDub here is no better solution for audio sync

too bad I like the idea of drag&drop an .flv file with Batman but it is out of sync :/

in the end , perfect audio sync (flv2avi) on the M6 , achieved with Vdub

(source flv is 15fps so here duplicate frames when setting to 20fps ; never mind)

in the end, it is routine to achieve -always- perfect lipsync audio syncing when transcoding .flv type YouTube videos to .avi M6 format ; but I mean only using Vdub/Xvid , in the moment

here is a Live performance of the Mahvishnu Orchestra of 'You know You know' ( btw , another Konnakol , lol ! a simple 12/4 melody built on 3 thakita) ; a 9 minute rage on it with perfect synced audio on the YouTube .flv file

and so , once converted, it remains 100% full synced as an M6 file

I hope soon Batman can achieve this since it is drag&drop and so.... idiot proof !

I mean I once again had forgotten the rotation ( I do not encode very much for the M6 , so ...I often forget !) , and it happened of course that it played fine (synced) on the M6 , which point I was only surveying ; so did not looked further

on this sample , it is no use to upload a Batman version since it is totally out of sync ; now the stranger thing is that on some other movies it can come close to sync, still poor sync but not as much ; which is not self understanding why the (out of) sync would fluctuate that much between samples ; now sure this can be fixed ....
