This is a discussion on Batman 2008 ..stutters ! within the General Meizu M6 forums, part of the miniPlayer M6 / SL category; seems you are then a very unreliable carbon copy ! not much important though ... if I still keep interest ...

Maybe the bitrate is too much for the CPU to handle.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postswhich post are you answering ? just asking since this thread is getting old

as for the bit rate I found (like many here) that the max average has to be under 500k , in fact even below 450;
in the begining of the thread I posted a pic ( I think !) I still have by chance of some up-to-the-limit bit rate I found possible , 515k, recompressing the linked open movie source
I remember it would only hardly briefly choke on two occasions , just about where the Batman 440k encode (while announced as 470k) would also choke ; so there is some logic here choking on the same more difficult sequences ; while here XviD file would be 515k average and Batman's Libavc would be 440k

on the other hand when getting down the bit rate to 440k , there is no choke at all on the 440k VDub/XviD sample I linked ; at least on my two M6s ; the movies are still linked , you can try for yourself
and I think we are here to the limit of the M6 , and deceptively with little visible gain when compared to some 350k target average; this is due to the tiny size of the screen , if you look double size on your computer the improvement gets more visible , while always not worth (imho)
usually the M6 will choke on bit rate peaks , which is just too normal , but not always on peaks ...and this is more questioning ! and there is no evidence of any relation with the audio interleave since taking the audio track out would not help !?
it is 'fun' to try and get the best out of the limited M6, but at some point it is a lost cause in 2008
Meizu should not have waited that long for a successor to the M6 ; simply by keeping the very same design and ergonomy but with a better 3" screen --with still 320*240 as for res' and basic Mpeg4SP as today -- but full frame rate , which means some faster cpu , not really not that much
all in all , some non costly revamp of the M6 that would have made a nice waiting transition for the upcoming M8 and family ; even early buyers of the M6 would have purchased such upgraded version, I would
