Hi, I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread, but I need some serious help.
I pressed <<| and power for a little bit and when I turn on my Meizu (Sp, M6)
it says "No resources found, please upgrade resources." Then it won't turn on. It's a green screen, and when I plug it into my computer it just has a gray bar at the top.
I'm totally new to this forum and I have no clue what to do, I'd REALLY appreiate any help I could get.
Thanks so much

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYou must download and install new firmware on the player. Look on the back of the player and it will say either version SP or TP. For SP use S2004.6 and for TP use T2004.6 Extract the files below and put resource.bin and M6.EBN on the meizu. Turn the player off. Turn the player back on and it should format, then display no resource. Put the resource file on the player again and it should upgrade and work fine. If it defaults in Chinese press menu, scroll to the 10th line down, and press enter. Then scroll the the 7th line down and press enter. Then select your language and press enter.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOh ok thank you,
when I download it, do I just drag it from another Pane and drop it into the folder where MUSIC and PICTURES SETTINGS and VIDEOS?
I've never used firmware so I'm not quite sure what to do, and I don't want to screw it up anymore than I already have

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAgh!
It's not working.
So basically, I did what I understood.
I dragged and dropped the saved firmware file onto the Meizu folder with the MUSIC and PICTURES.
Then i let it sit for a little bit.
Turned it on again and then did the same thing, and now....it's still not working. I'm positive it's something I'm not doing right, and I don't know what to do.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsDid you extract the files from the archive and copy both resource.bin and M6.EBN? I have the exact same firmware installed on mine and it upgraded fine. Try again and if that doesn't work use a different firmware. You could try this one.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsadamL, he is talking about the root folder
He did understand you and he copied the files to the right place.
After the first restart you should get a message like "no ressource file found". Now copy the ressource.bin again to the player (to the same location). And ONLY the ressource.bin. Do NOT copy the m6.ebn again on your player. Unplug it from your PC, turn it off and on, wait and then it should work again

My meizu is my little baby and I take it everywhere I go, I've been musicless for the past 2 days and it's been killing me.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOh dangnabbit.
This is why it isn't working, I haven't unzipped the file.
The thing is though, is that it's not a zipped folder, it just downloads as a little Windows Media Icon on a piece of paper with the top right corner folded. It says it's a RAR file.
The struggle continues.....
