Thank you BobbyQ for the kind words ... but it's you who should be thanked, a thousand times !

Batman works like a charm, and outflies any tool I would have imagined using instead !

Thanks boo516, I hope I managed to write down how I felt about that device ...

It is a good player indeed, and I hardly go anywhere without it now !

great review Satka! just one thing i don't understand (my english is not that good...): "Maybe background cycling through a photo folder during playback would have been nice (but not essential)."
You mean playing music while cycling through pictures? Because you can do that!

    gosh!!!... how? :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I see!!!!... you put music then you go to PHOTOS and launch a slideshow!

I think Satka talk of some feature on the inverse. Something more on rhythm :D:D:D:D

    Hey nice2know_u and DaremoS

I guess my English is not that good either

What I meant was to have a background that changes automatically every x minutes, using photos from a given folder

I didn't have the rhythm thing in mind, but that would be cool (and a little psychedelic too, with the right settings :D I can imagine background changing to the rhythm of acid techno music !)

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL... of course that of "on rhythm" was just to give an example.

Indeed solution of nice2know_u is what you really need... launch an album in MUSIC then go to PHOTOS and put a slide show... there is a way to put up to 20 seconds in "slideshow settings"... you can play a little with "transition mode"... from time to time you'll have to replace all the photos in PICTURES folder.

    Congratulations.I have a M6sl too.But yours really travelled a long way.
I think the black M6sl wears white silicon protection will be more pretty.Because the white silicon protection is nearly transparent.

Congrats Da_Vinci and coopatroopa for your new technological jewel :D

With each passing day, I grow more fond of the device.
There are some situations I just can't do without my M6SL now:
    - House chores: Cleaning up the house listening to a podcast is the perfect combination ... I really am going to convert me into a house-elf !
    - Waiting room: I recently had to go to the doctor's (no, not about my left ear being bigger than my right ), and there were about 5 persons before me ... I just took my M6SL, started a movie, and spent the hour wait without knowing it !
    - Stores: The music in stores are hardly ever to my taste. Thanks to the M6SL, they are now ! It is even fun to shop !
    - Cooking: Hook up your device to amplified speakers, and you're ready for some serious kitchen fun !

I'm not saying the M6SL is the only DAP with which you can do all those things, you could do all this with nearly any modern DAP I think ...
But the way the interface slowly becomes natural, makes the "switch on, pop the earphones, and start your music" a very easy and hassle-free process.

As I said in the review, the M6SL is like magic: it's an always ready, invisible music and movies dispenser.
