Radio volume too soft

I usually listen around vol 12 for my mp3, but when i switch to radio, vol 12 is very soft, i have to increase the volume to almost double to be on par. Is this normal?

Also, I've set the FM to stereo, but my radio always put MONO, i have to go back manually to switch to stereo everytime.

Anyone experience this?

The lower volume on the FM Radio is because it works independently and is not processed through the main audio chip.

I think the stereo\mono may have something to do with signal strength. I find the radio sometimes reverts to mono on stations with weaker reception.

Some reviews said the radio on Meizu M6 is quite good so hm :d ... now im confused.

The displayed reception strength / stereo-mono mode is not very reliable, because it's only updated if you change the channel or go to menu and back to radio.
Sometimes it shows mono, but in fact you receive a stereo signal.

it is the contrary on my M6SL : the sound on the radio is much stronger than when listening mp3 and I have to lower it down to around 2 ! (i am around 12-15 when listening to mp3s.

when the reception is clear it does not revert to mono.
