    How to edit the information for a lot of songs on my M6

    Sorry this is probably a stupid question but my manual is in Chinese.

    I have a M6. I've put a lot of songs on it, they're all tidily in folders and sub folders under the MUSIC directory in Windows

    But they're not so tidily stored in terms of 'Artist', 'Album name' etc on the actual player. I suppose I can change manually on the actual player... but I was wondering is there some kind of interface I can use on my computer where I can easily view each tracks listed 'artist', 'abum name' and 'track name' so that I can change them easier? When I used to own a Creative Zen it had such software and it made management of the player so easy.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    You should use Windows Explorer to change data of files.
    To change data in ID3 tag you should use any program for managing of tags.
    WMP11 / WMP10 do all the task without problems.

    My media player on the PC does it automatically for me, several do. Winamp, Windows Media Player, Media Monkey, etc.
    Or if you wish to edit tags there are also programs that can help with that Mp3Tag is one I can think of, but there are others just do a search for "mp3 tag editor" and you'll find some if you're media player on your pc doesn't do it well enough for you.
