Post-power cut Miniplayer death

Hi, I actually posted this in the 'Loading screen freeze up' thread as it is exactly the same problem that I'm having, however I thought that as that problem had been solved the thread may not be checked for new replies, so I've posted the problem again with it's own thread.

I am having the same problem with my 4GB M6, I was charging the player and we had a power cut, now it is stuck on the load screen. Again only the regular reset works, which just brings up the same screen, neither the hard reset or memory cleanup work at all. However I cannot even get DFU tools to work, as the computer will not recognise the player when I plug it in.

Please tell me there's something I can do, I've only had the damn thing 1 bloody day and I really don't want to have to send it back already

Try searching the forums for proper DFU procedures. It requires some combination of key-pressing.
