Is the M6 having major problems ?

A lot of people post their problems here in the forum. That's what it was made for, and we all appreciate it. But the nature of this is also that people passing by might get a warped picture of how good the M6 is because they get to see only the problems, not the joy. So I would like to start this poll today to give future Meizu owners an overview of how good or bad the Meizu devices really are.

only 20 participants is disappointing .. where are all you whiners now when we want to make it official ? It's even anonymous, so get out of your holes and vote.

Bobby which M6 are you talking of here ???

Because it doesn't matter if the older variants have a problem since i am getting the newer Meizu M6 SL ( any improvements, whether any bugs still remain from earlier versions have yet to be reported ).

I've ordered mine already but will take a week or 2 to get to me :x and since i am a new Meizu owner i wouldn't know what existing problems that have plagued you all so far ...

I was finally prompted to vote, by your special words of encouragement. I scrolled past the poll at the top, thinking you were asking for a discussion of the subject. I get the impression that there isn't a great deal of will for an honest discussion of the real problem, rather I see a tendency to pretend that complaints are down to the users being whiners.

I don't think the problem is major, as far as how well the device works, but it is chronic. I don't think I've ever before seen a supported product with such tardy bug-fixing policy. As someone who has some programming experience, I can say that there is no good reason that such simple problems should drag on so long without solution.

As for the device, it does what it is supposed to do, such as voice recording, recording from the radio, playing music and videos. I've used it for all of those things and it works fine, for the most part, but what is irritating is being bullied by the device as it does what it feels like doing, rather than what I want it to do. I don't want the imposed shutdown or the imposed library update and I don't see why the manual playlist option has to be so slow.

I just ordered a new Meizu since i want to enjoy flac/ape/ogg on a DAP for once .... i hope i didn't make the wrong choice.

The only other brand that does this many formats is the Cowon and has good sound quality. And others are rockbox firmware players :x which i was too scared to try.

I hope to see more positive feedback pretty soon !!!

as long as the use of the word "whiners" could at least evoke any feedback at all, my mission was successful ;-) I just want this vote to grow over - say 100 - so we can point to it and say "hey, there is a majority of people who think this or that". So we have a common ground to start our further discussions from.

I think everyone knows what I think about Meizu...

well i got mine about 2 weeks ago ( m6 sp ) and right now i am really happy with it ! i hope i won't get those ( my meizu does not start up anymore ..etc ) problems

sometimes ( not often ) i get this funny noise between songs ... but thats alright ...

i say as long as new firmware version come out i am fine witht he product ! ... the sound is great and i don't need itunes :P

btw. i hate itunes and ipod

No I do not think Meizu or the M6 are having any problems ( I just hate seeing that word on this site)

No player will fill someones requirements a 100% but for me the M6 has came closest with all the great things it can do.
