i got it!
hey guys im new here and i got my 8gb m6 2 days ago.... im loving it!
no problems so far (cross fingers)
My best bet to make the player stable and not crash is not to do hacks like themes, fonts, etc. i might be wrong, someone enlighten me please
was a bit disappointed though. was told by CD2U that meizu discontinued their player pouch, polishing cloth and strap. it'd be great to have the pouch and strap, kinda like geek swag.
yes guys, meizu loves me, and i love meizu.
M8, here i come!!

Welcome! Hope you enjoy your Meizu as much as I have. I didn't get a pouch or polishing cloth with mine either, but the crystal cases are really nice. Protects your player and looks good while doing it. You can pick one up at just about any site that sells Meizus or off eBay.

i bought mine from retail store, 8GB black as well
apparently in hk there is only one version and that version has all the stuff in it (well, most of the stuff, including pouch, strap, etc)
whereas in mainland china there is basic and luxury version
maybe that's the difference...
but yea, it's good hey?

I hacked everything what possible is at my player (made my own theme/font and put the radio back on it because they sell it in my country without it...) but it doesn't mather how stayeble the player is! if you have anyquestions about all those things you could pm me (or just make a topic on the forum!)

Malique... when you get the habit of play with your M6, it will come as a natural thing to change its appearance,... and you won't be doing anything forbidden... that is not to hack the player...
... that's skinning or modding... the device have been made for this!... That's why it's so easy to change firmware... knowing all the tricks it's a simple thing.
You see... that is greatest differences with other devices...this skinning add extra pleasure to have a MP4 player. Seeing it with a different look from time to time is wonderful... thanks to guys here this week my new M6 will look as a walkman :D:D:D:D:D:D:D.
Anyway if you feel nervous or insecure... just keep it as it is... but remember each new firmware adds new surprises for the user. Some are wonderful challenges to solve
This is a Meizu player suitable for playing with... not a limited iPod.
Is you who play with the device not the device that play with you... in Meizu M6 is you who have the control
Enjoy!!!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsNicely said, DaremoS. Couldn't agree more. I won't know what it's like to have a mp4 player which all it can do is listen to music and play videos and pictures... skinning has made my player so much more enjoyable - now with the ability to change the font (credit to Asmo), skinning has become more exciting ^^

Hi everyone... we wanted to let you know that we too were dissappointed when MEIZU discontinued to provide the carrying pouch, strap and cleaning cloth and we knew our customers would be too. This is why we provided FREE OF CHARGE, a silicon cover, wall charger and fashion necklace. This is our standard Value PAK and you will see we offer the lowest prices in the market today. If you wish to have added accessories like the crystal case, a car charger; belt clip and others we offer our Luxury Pak. The Luxury pak is also the lowest price in the market for the value we are providing with our pre & after market service and items received with your player. As far as other company's providing the pouch, strap and cleaning cloth - this is probably due to stock they received when these items where provided. This is another reason it is good to shop with company's like us as we stay lean so that we can provide the latest models with latest firmware offered.
Thanks to all of you who have done business with CD2U and we look forward to seeing all of you again.
We will in the very near future be offering the SL Version so watch our sub-forum here at MEIZUME and our site for the latest. take care, your direct link to China - CD2U - Customer Support Team www.cd2u.netAdvertising removed

You are right in China they sale a basic and Luxury version; the luxury version is quite expensive as it comes with all the bells and whistles - like the OEM Charger, Extended Power adapter (if I remember correctly) and other high end items. We also offer these items 'separately' on both eBay and our site - we don't package the high end items with the player as we believe it should be a customers choice and we want to keep our pricing on the players as low as possible.
Watch our sub-forum as we will be releasing the SL version very soon. Thanks to all - CD2U Customer Support Team
We look forward to bringing all of the latest from MEIZU - your direct link to ChinaAdvertising removed
