    Update Media?

i have just gotten my Meizu, i love it. i just have one question. i havent gotten quite adjusted to it yet, but i noticed that sometimes when i turn the device on, it takes a very long time because it does the media update or something. does anyone know why its doing this and if its because of something i've done. i understand the few times i had to reset it, but alot of times i dont have to reset it and i'll turn it on to the media update screen. any help is appreciated.

media update occurs for two reasons that i know of.
-you've had your m6 plugged it to your computer or AC adapter with a usb cord
-you've had the m6 on hold

it shouldnt update your media unless you did the two things.

Update Media Library is a necessary step to put in order media files, this process should run after a USB unplug, as the system needs to reorder recently transferred files. That's the normal behaviour of such function, I've read that in some devices it occurs every time system is switched on... that's not normal.

It could be a problem with some of your ID3 tags, try a reset by holding down the >> button as you power on the player. All files will be deleted and all settings will be return to default. Then load some new files and see if the problem continues.
