iem users, listening volume?

    iem users, listening volume?

    hey, so i was just curious how bad/good my hearing compared to others.... those of you with iem, what is the average listening volume for you on your meizu?? and what is the max you will ever go?? my average is 3-5 and the max is 5... 5 is very loud already...

    My kind of music sounds better at 12. Max is 20, but Ive never put it that loud.

    normally 15/20, or 40 when the song is awesome, only really bad for my ears:P

    3-4 maybe 5-8 if there is a lot of background noise. But 8 very loud.

    You have to give your EQ settings first. If you set them higher, then your volume doesn't need to be as high, but if you set them lower, you have to make your volume higher.
    If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

    Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
    Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
    Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

    My EQ setting is Rock, no spatializer, and my volume is 2-4.

    I use spatializer and the find that I usually listen anywhere from 3-7, depending on the song. If I go above 10 my ears start to hurt.
    Meizu crazed since March '07 and lovin it!

    I have mine set to about 30 all the time... though I don't have IEMs, I have open air headphones. ^_^;;

    I wanted to say, though, DAMN, using IEMs over open air changes the amount of volume output by that much?! O.O I gotta get some of those kind soon... after I get a working M6.

    Eventually i go up to 6-7 if there is a lot of background noise...

    5 max. using <32ohm iems. No eq. Using the Shure e5, i go up to 8.
    Current Rigs:
    8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
    4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
    Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
    2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use

    I have Spatializer off. That's comfortable listening at 10-14 with my v-moda vibes.
