    Protective Film

    I know I know, your not supposed to take it off. But I took the back film off. Am I screwed? I did it cause It came with a stupid sticker then when you peel it off it leave crap all behind, and I didn't want sticker shit on the film so I took the whole thing off. But I still have it? Should I say screw it and put it back on? Or is there something I can do with the sticker?

    are you sure, that you pulled the protective cover down? as far as i heard, this should take quite some force... if you really did that, don't worry.
    there are backup covers to buy out there

    if you just want to get rid of the glue from the sticker on the protective film try to use alcohol/medium heat/a rubber (yeah - really)

    the film with the sticker attached is not the protective cover, it is safe to peel it off, but now if you look closely again at they back of your player, u should see the edges of the actually protective cover, exactly the same size as ur old film, ... well,,, that is unless you peeled them BOTH out together...

    and terror, where can we find thes4e protective films? and how is it possible to place them on ourselves without messing up?

    @calvin

    there are two kind of protective coveres:
    1.) a guy at ebay sells "skin-covers" which can also be used to protect the player (they are rather thick - 2 mm i think)

    2.) there is another firm that produces such covers. look around in the forums, both - the guy from ebay and the firm (i think it was something like nanotec or displex) - are mentioned here.

    edit:

    found something:

    Those skins are from seller "eacoskins" They are a great way to protect your player. They are not 2 mm thick, they are 6 mils ( a mil is 1/1000th of an inch) about as thick as 2 pieces of paper. He also has "gel skins" which are a thick gel coating over the skin makes the player about a 1/4" thicker with both front and back skins applied. I have bought both from him, and the gel skins rock. Here is some pics of my M3 with the gel skin, and my M6 with the regular skin.

    It comes right off, it has a removable adhesive on it, you can take it off, and re use them. They are easy to apply, just line it up, and stick it on, if it is crooked, pull it off, and try again. According to the seller, they now include a screen protector film, which it didn't include when i got them
