Scared half to death (washed m6)

i washed my meizu yesterday and once i realized i did i went ape s**t around this site for info about wet players. However, today i put it back together and it works fine.

what i did was pop off the metal back and let everything sit overnight.
Am i just really lucky or was the m6 made to be sumewhat water resistant?

Wow, I almost got it drenched by the rain but this is something totally different.

On average electronics work fine after getting wet, provided that you thouroughly let it dry.

I once droppen my PDA in my dogs water can, after drying it for a day or 2 on the radiator it turned on again, and it functioned perfectly.

my water bottle opened inside my waterproof bag and my NDS was submerged in it for about 10 seconds. I ended up opening it and drying it with my hairdryer

water generally isn't harmful to electronics as long as it isn't powered on while wet.

If you tur it on while it is wet, you will risk short circuiting the main board.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

I washed mine last week. I just let it dry out for a few days after taking it apart and it works fine...with the exception that my screen is a little messed up. I was very relieved it still functions.

I spilled coke on my cellphone once, I just turned it off for some hours and then it worked great.
