Is this true about the M6 SE ?

    Posted on wikipedia

"A new version is in the making and is set for release in Q4 of 2007. The Meizu M6 Mini Player SE (Slim Edition) will feature a higher resolution screen with new features such as TV-Out, brighter display, 720 x 480 at 30 Frames Per Second, and no need to convert video files. It will be reduced in thickness by 3mm. The thickness will be 7mm, as thin as the M3 Music Card. The negative effect is that the battery life will be compromised by a less powerful battery in order to fit in the thickness."

    Is this true?

Release is delayed due to the M8 so I doubt the M6SE will surface till early 2008. The M6SL which will have the same functions\capabilities as the current M6 but be 3mm thinner with less battery life is reported as possibly released late September early October depending on testing.

Joinging Madmans comments id like to ad that a lighter battery doesn't necessarily mean worse battery life if 1) a more advanced battery is used and 2) player is made more power efficient

also i think there is a mix up in SE (second Edition) and SE(Slim Edition)
I haven't heared about any plans to release the current M6 in a thinner version anymore
currently most talk seems to be about the M8 with the Second Edition(the more advanced player, not just the thinner version of the current m6) comming out later...

It is true, but the slim edition is just the normal M6 that is 7mm thick. The Second Edition has all the features you listed.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
