Had the D2 for 2 days now and it is like an exciting mistress. Most of the features and fixes requested for the M6 firmware in endless posts already exist on the D2.

I did not take long to get used to the GUI and within hours I was moving around its many features as easily as on the M6. It is easily operated with one hand using the thumb and touch screen, and dispite the touch screen interface is less prone to showing fingerprints than the M6.
I can adjust the volume, pause and skip to next track with blind operation in a bag or pocket due to a feature that allows you to program the external buttons for certain tasks when the Hold\Lock is active.
I've learn't how to theme it, hacked the font and updated to the latest Beta firmware release out of Korea that has a English\Korean dictionary that speaks phonetic pronunciations (totaly useless but very entertaining). I have yet to experience any problematic or buggy behaviour but that does not mean there aren't any.

I spent a few hours in the D2 forum today and dispite the fact that most of the M6 foibles do not exist on the D2 and there are regular firmware releases there are still endless threads and posts complaining about unfixed problems, unneccesary feature additions. People are emailing Cowon Korea about ID3tag issues etc etc etc and a growing number of requests for the firmware to become open source. Honestly it is like "Bezzarro World" where everything is the same but different.

The grass will always look greener on the other side but for now this sultry vixen has me vexed.
